Instructor: Award winning food photographer Chris Rov Costa
Class Outline
Chris brings years of experience shooting food for magazines, small businesses and brands. He will discuss:
Consulting with client, brand and mood board, shoot preparation, mental preparation
Fundamentals of working with clients - setting expectations, Day of Shot list, working with natural environment and chefs
Technical essentials: Lighting, equipment, lens, post production
Hands-on shooting 3-5 items: drink, main course, dessert - three varieties
Q & A and critique to follow.
What to bring
Please bring a DSLR or mirrorless camera that allows you to change lenses and manually control your settings.
If you have a macro lens or a close focus lens. Otherwise 30mm-90mm prime lens
Note pad and writing utensil
